I just got an in dash dvd unit and I want to be able to install a
backup camera. Some instructions state that i need to wire it to my
shifter where a sensor of some kind is installed and i've heard its
easier to install by linking it to you backup lights... So far both seem
like a big undertaking. To get the covers off around my shifter is a
big ass pain and running a wire to the rear of my truck seems a bit
overkill. Does anyone have any experience with these? I have
installed numerous stereos before but this is a first for a dvd unit.
