Hey all, new owner of 2000 Frontier Crew Cab 4x4.  Has the bed extender and stock bed liner.  Any ideas on hauling 2 bikes in the bed. Are there any Nissan or after market racks available?  I've got a roof rack, and could haul up there but prefer to haul down low. Other ideas?

well there are a lot of diff options out there...some pretty nifty bike rikes, some that are trailer hitch mount, as well as inbed and other roof rack type options..but if you don't have a hitch and don't want to run them up top as you said, there are some options for hauling in bed, if you do have a hitch that broadens your choices but, most of the hitch mount ones are fairly similar from what i've seen, maybe someone else can expand on that if they see it differently. below is a few links of some places that offer diff setups, some are general links and you would have to look for application specific (i.e. your model and year) hope this helps

There is a rack called the Thule BedRider. I can never find it on the Thule website, but I bought one from a bike store. And you can find loads of them online.

Basically it's an extendable bar that clamps into position across the top of the bed behind the cab. It has a locking clamp on one side that holds the rack in TIGHT. Comes with two fork clamps (one for each bike).

I can fit either two road bikes or 2 mountain bikes on that rack without the need for my bed extender.

Good Point : It costs about $150

Bad Point : Has no built-in bike lock, so you need a cable lock.

Are there any quick release bike clamps that can be used in the bed tracks on the new fronties? I just got a Nismo '06 and don't want to drill holes in the bed to install my old cleats. If anyone knows if they make cleats to hold bikes that you can put into and remove from the tracts the information would be much appreciated.

The Bike Rack that I have pictured above does not need to be drilled. The bar is telescopic, so you extend it until it is a firm fit, and then the locking clamp further tightens it.

It can be removed very quickly but I have not tried storing it behind the CC rear seats. There seems to be enough space back there above the jack, so it may be a perfect place for it.

So I was just looking for a Frontier Accessory and stumbled across these:

Picture shows them in the side rail, but they must also work in the bed rail, musn't they?

I am not sure who makes them, but so many people think that the utili-track system would be perfect for this. I wish Nissan would sell a cleat specifically for putting a bike on.

Delta makes a bike rack that is basically a large "U" shape, with traps attached to the uprights of the "U".  The tops of the "U" are strapped over the tailgate to the bottom of the "U". 

I am trying to find the link I used to purchase said rack.   Works great, not much rub on tailgate.
