I HAVE BEEN SLOWLY DROPPING MY TIME AND MONEY INTO MY
FRONTIER. HOWEVER I COULD USE A LITTLE HELP AND HOPEFULLY SOME GUIDANCE FROM PEOPLE WITH MY SAME VEHICLE.
I ALREADY HAVE A BULLET PERFORMANCE MUFFLER, K&N AIR FILTER, PLUGS/PLUG WIRES, EXEDY ORGANIC CLUTCH, PEAK MAX
INTAKE AIR TEMP. MODULE, AND A 3.5IN. FABTECH LIFT. I HAVE SEEN AND HEARD OF THE 4CYL. FRONTIERS THAT PUSH 230HP AT THE WHEELS. I WANT IT! PLEASE HELP

Unless they have a turbo or nitros there is no way the 4cyl. frontier will produce that kind of power. And be dependable

THAT IS NOT HELPFUL, BUT THANKS. AND NO YOU DO NOT NEED TURBOS TO ACHIEVE THAT. MY FRONTIER DOESN'T STOCK 25HP TO BEGIN WITH AND I ALREADY HAVE A START ON SOME OF THE GOODIES I NEED. WITH HEADERS, CAMS, A FULL CAT-BACK W/ HI-FLO CAT, AN INTAKE, IGNITION UPGRADES, COMPUTER REPLACEMENT, INJECTORS, AND SOME OTHER HEAD WORK AND I AM
ALREADY AT ABOUT 350HP OR MORE SO NOW WHAT. IF EVERYTHING IS INSTALLED LIKE IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IT WILL BE MORE THAN ROAD DEPENDABLE. I WOULD PREFER FOR SOMEONE TO GIVE ADVICE THAT HAS ACHIEVED THIS OR KNOWS A PLACE WHERE THIS CAN ALL BE HANDLED.THANKS AGAIN

I don't know if I'm reading what you just said correctly but your truck is pushing 350hp yet you said something about 230hp to the wheels... is this 350hp to the flywheel?

ALRIGHT! YOU TOLD ME THAT I WOULD NEED TURBOS OR NITROUS TO ACHIEVE THIS HP RATING(230). I TOLD YOU STRAIGHT UP THAT YOU ARE WRONG. THEN I LISTED ALL THE ITEMS I WOULD NEED TO GET THERE. BY THE TIME I WAS DONE LISTING THIS STUFF OFF, MY TRUCK WOULD CARRY AN APPROXIMATE 350HP. I AM NOT SURE IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT VEHICLES OR NOT
BUT TO GAIN A MERE 100HP IS NOT A MIRACLE. YES EVEN ON A 4CYL THIS CAN BE DONE. I REALIZE I AM NOT AN ENGLISH MAJOR BUT WHAT I WROTE AND STATED IS FAIRLY CLEAR AND SELF EVIDENT.

Here's a little more help. Check out www.jimwolftechnology.com They offer a lot of Nissan Performance parts. Mainly bottom end, and ECU upgrades.
Also, AirRaid is working on a new intake for the KA24DE motors for the frontiers. Check out thread I posted with info.

I appreciate your concern because I was almost sure that no one had a clue what to think of the post I made. I went ahead and went back to the jim wolfe site i had been on quite sometime ago. They still don't have crap
for my truck. I was even actually on his original home site looking for stuff. I just went ahead and purchased
a weapon-r intake for my truck. I love it! If you don't have one go searching for weapon-r and check it out. They outperform all intakes right now for my truck. Thanks again

I went back to double check and you were right. There are cams but there wasn't anything for a 2000 frontier
as far as ecu's go and where did you see the pistons. Anyway I am more pre-occupied with getting my pacesetter
headers on. Recently I got a Weapon-R intake and it gets
it! I am also in the process of pulling the factory ecu and sending it to superchips who will probably do it in a week. Yeah i guess I am going bolt-on until I blow my stock motor than I will build the s*** out of it! Thanks

Links are Great. The 2000 had the KA24DE... which doesn't have an ECU designed for it yet, my bad. But as for the pistons, they offer 2 styles.
