I am cool with the Nissan Factory radio in my 2011
Nissan, but I would definitely like to add a dedicated
ipod dock (USB style) that would charge the ipod as it
plays, and hopefully I could control the ipod through the
radio controls.
I noticed that Nissan sells just such an accessory, it
goes for $275 .
I haven't checked aftermarket, but if anyone has
installed or had installed a (USB) ipod dock that will
charge, I would like to know how much it was, etc.....
I have a 2011 SV Crew Cab with the midlevel Nissan/CD
changer/XM Satellite radio, not the uplevel Rockford
Fosgate , but not the strippo level either.
I already have the audio jack, not interested in using it
as it doesn't charge, and no control over the ipod......
I like myself some music, now...........
Thanks for the replies !

Save your money. Nissan option doesn't charge the iPod, ALWAYS
starts at the first (alphabetical) song instead of last song played, and
scrolling through iPod menu is not done with steering wheel controls
but is a PITA 2 button affair on the dashboard.
You're better off connecting through AUX 1/4 inch jack interface.
BTW, my Frontier is the 2012 SL with the Rockford Fosgate stereo.
Awesome stereo, crappy iPod connection.
