Hi,
I'm new to your forum and if this has already been addressed I apologize for asking again. Has anyone installed a oil filter relocation kit on a 2004 Frontier XE 2.4L 2WD, the reason I ask is this is my first Nissan and before it I had only owned Toyotas and Dodge trucks, and I have never seen an oil filter that required so much effort to remove and replace. I have to turn the wheel all the way to the right, remove the mud guard, get inside the fender well, reach in, hold my jaw just right, say some colorful metaphors, and turn. I tell you I would like to meet this designer and have some words with him. Anyway back to the question I have seen some online and n my truck it looks like I could run the oil lines straight up and mount the oil filter bracket to the firewall on the passenger side. Has anyone done this are there any things I should look out for etc.
Thanks,
