I just bought an '01 Fronty XE 4 Cyl. and the belts are squeaking like crazy. I heard this is a common problem among Frontiers so I figured I could get some help. I can't get my hands on a Service Manual yet, so if somebody could give me some help it would be really helpful.

If there isn't a picture under the hood just observe the way in which way you take off the old belt.

Well, I changed the belts...but now i hear a loud squealing right when I start the truck but it goes away after a few seconds...I had to take the bottom pully off to get the belt off...I think I might have lost a piece to it cause it feels like it has a little play in it...that may be what it is...guess I'll just have to deal with that

If it squeals on start up, the belt is too loose.
