My 2011 Frontier Pro-4X is pretty well loaded but the front suspension is a double wishbone. A club member of our local off-road club had a Nissan Hardbody with independent suspension and said they broke constantly. I am only familiar with straight axles on my 55 Willies n 90 Wrangler. I am only planing on doing class 1 or 2 trails. Input would be appreciated. Thanks, Coyote

One trick about driving independant front end is to let off the brakes just before you hit a bump. this lets the front end rise and gives more ground clearance for the differentual housing. Hard Bodies and early Frontiers have steering links that are a little weak. Pick ups need a little more lift in the rear than the front.
