on my fuel rail I had a friend tell me to take out the #2 injector plug, when i took off the plug i had to push down on it to were it actually would come up off the fuel rail. on my # 2 it had a green on it and it said to push down but now i cannot get it to lock back into place on the fuel oil rail, was wondering if there was some kinda trick to get it back into place i have had no luck and my cannot tell me how to get back into place.

try spraying it with silicone or WD-40 and blow it out with
compressed air if available. And push down very hard until
it clicks to reinstall.

i just wanna make sure i have pushed down pretty hard before, but i didnt want to put to much pressure on it and break the it or the fuel rail. But WD 40 will not do anything to the injector plug?
