2005 king cab LE I hear very loud tapping sound from glove compartmet area for about 5 seconds only when starting engine. Maybe temperature control damper? Noise heard when Fan setting is OFF and airflow direction positioned at any setting. A/C, Heat, Fan work fine. Just hear this tapping noise at initial startup. Appreciate how to resolve.

Sounds like one of the mode motors. Have someone start the
vehicle while you try to identify which one. If all modes
function OK, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
