Well, we had the 1st of the big winter storms over here on the Olympic peninsula in WA. We got hit with 18" of snow and high winds, power outages etc..

However my joy was watching all those BIG american gas guzzlers 4x4 and SUV's all getting stuck on the hill outside our town and here was my 2008 Frontier SE 4 door sailing past them. I had her in 4 hi mode and she was amazing in the snow and I did not even have dedicated snow tires on her.

She has the multi seasonal BF Goodrich and boy does she handle, I even went up into the forest to drop off my co- worker who lives out in the sticks and he even commented on how well she drives! I think the weight of the 4 door and the way there is more weight sitting towards the back of the vehicle as well I have a LEER canopy on her all helped.

Have to say I love my Fronty!!

Noted the same here in colorado. Was surprised how well it handles. Actually it was kind of annoying as it would slide when i was intentially trying to make it slide unless i used the emergancy brake. wish i could turn off the anti slip and ABS. its my first car with either.

Agreed, in 2WD in the snow the truck is pretty much worthless even with 300 to 350lbs directly over the rear wheels.  It is fun to drift though in 2WD, so simple to control/correct.  Once you pop it in 4WD Hi I swear the truck can climb a tree.  I've definitely plowed through 3-4 foot snow banks at the end of my driveway with ease.
I swear it locks into full 4WD because the truck will not lose traction at all in 4WD Hi or Low.
