I had the famous fuel sensor problem and got the part, but failed to install it in a timely manner. I then ran out of gas (I think - you'll see why later). This happened a second time. The car would just stall out. When you tried to restart it, the engine would just run really rough and eventually stall. I had it towed to a local garage and he checked the fuel pressue and said it was reading 31 pounds. He said you need at least 51 pounds. He scanned the engind and found no codes (not even the fuel sensor problem). He replaced the fuel pump and the fuel sensor (all in one unit). I picked it up today and it stalled on the way home (three times). It restarted right up, but stalled later on in my trip home. I am having it towed back to the garage tomorrow. Now I don't know if the fuel pump was ever bad and it may be another issue. Anyone out there have any ideas what to check on now. I have a 2005 Frontier Nissmo.
Thanks
Bruce
