I was doing an oil change today. I took off the skid plate and I seen a lot of dried up
antifreeze. I look around to see where it was coming from and found it was coming from accelerator area.

here is some pictures of what I found.

I have no clue what that thing does and why it has antifreeze coming from it. The only thing
I can think of is that it controls the idle after the engine warms up.

So my question is:
1.) has this happen to any of you guys?
2.) is it easy to fix?

It is actually called a wax pellet assy to control the FAST idle. It is removable and you can replace the "o"ring.PS nice pictures!

I thought it was for the idle.  So how easy is it to remove?  Do you just remove the pin that is on the wax pellet?

as for the pictures I just stuck my phone over there really fast so I could post what I was talking about.  My phone does take ok pics.

It is easiest to do if you remove the throttle assy, but not necessary. There is a screw that holds the retainer plate, then carefully pry the assy out of the throttle assy.
