Pierre-Yves;

... Welcome to the group.

Looks like you were having some fun in the woods.

There are PICs of my Frontier in the Picture gallery. You can see it in the menu to the left.

I guess you already know that Renault bought 33% of Nissan Motors here a while back .

Have a good one and ;) CUL.. Don S..

thank you for the reception ;)

you know, in France, Renault does not have a super reputation. Thus as long as it is Renault which buys engines nissan, that goes, but it is not necessary that that becomes the reverse!

Pierre-Yves;

... Thanks, I didn’t know what kind of reputation Renault had in France. In 1961 I had to replace a water pump on a Renault with a rear engine. I will never forget it because I had to grind the sides of a 9/16th socket for clearance on a bolt under the valve cover. I still have and use that 9/16th socket.

... Without my knowledge a grown daughter of mine bought a Renault in the early 1970’s. The parts were very hard to get. The windshield wiper drive unit and motor was a very strange design and took 6 months to get a new one. The car could not be driven for the 6 months due to not passing a state safety inspection.

... On the other hand, I’ve had 6 Datsun/Nissan Vehicles over the last twenty two years and they have all been almost perfect.

Have a good one and CUL.. Don S.. aka Lakota

Welcome, love the tires.  Sorry I haven't stopped in earlier, but I've been quite busy ordering parts.

I didn't know if Renault is very diffused in the USA??? In France yes, but quality is not signal and the completion is not fantastic.

thanks kcidmil these tires are reconditioned (MUD) tires. that does not go badly in offroad
