The AirAid made a signigicant difference in my truck, but I have no idea how it compares to the NISMO Intake, as I've never used one.  I have also never had my truck on a dyno, so I have no idea what the actually increase in HP and torque is with this intake.  I know what the manufacturer claims, but I doubt it actually makes that much! There is a member of another forum who has a lot of experience with modifying cars and trucks, and he has done dyno tests on various performance parts and reported good results. Based on his findings, the Intake seems to produce more than the exhaust.  He also made the comment that any of the aftermarket Intakes would probably produce the same results, so it's really up to your personal preference and budget.

yeah... none.    Honestly, unless you have a sport truck, Nitrous isn't worth it.

well if you aren't concerned about mpg, forego the nitrous...that's just too freakin fast and furious wannabe...not to mention just plain wrong for a truck.

there are several sites you can check out that specialize in nissan performance and/or truck performance.

www.4x4parts.com  has cams, intakes, exhausts, as well as the venom power module and the jet power module, tho i don't know if any of that applies to the 05 fronty, lol and i can't believe you think it's slow, for it's size 265 HP and 285 ft/lbs of torque are plenty to smoke your tires, my brother had a fronty before his titan and he loved it, but just put too many miles on it and then decided he wanted a bigger truck thus the titan, and i can tell you that thing blew the doors off a couple meatballs in what they thought were fast cars, and that was just plain stock, if i had the money i would buy a new fronty, i like em.

www.truckperformance.com also has parts but more limited

you can also check http://www.calmini.com/ , http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/ , and there is one more nissan specialist that might have stuff applicable to an 05 fronty but it is still relatively new truck and it takes time for products to arrive for newer vehicles

oh you can also look for an aftermarket supercharger, if i was gonna put anything on there big like that, i wouldn't go with nos, i'd go with a supercharger, but well that's just me, again good luck

yeah, those places will have parts for your xterra too, what year is your xterra? www.4x4parts.com is a great place for 00-04 parts for xterra, pathys and frontys it looks like with a lot of stuff you could use to get more power, clearance and what not for your nissan offroad ride or just making a 2wd look more beefy. i like what i've seen from their site and when i've emailed them with a couple questions, they are usually pretty quick to respond there. oh one other place i forgot to mention to you but have listed in other post about exhaust is custom tube products, they have a bolt on cat back "dual" exhaust, in my opinion isn't a true dual but looks like it gets much better flow than stock, not sure if they have it for the new frontys but you can take a look, but they have it for the older model frontys and could possibly fit your xterra if it's an older model, i'd love to get an xterra and fix it up for doing some trails and offroading or an earlier pathy like 91-95
