Ive look around this site and found a couple posts related to my problem but not really ant answers jest wondering if any1 figured it out.

ok i have a 2000 frontier with a 4 cyl. and my speedometer, gas gauge ,tach and temp  all go out sporadically it doesnt matter if its cold hot bumpy.  sometimes the gauges freeze sometimes they all fall to nothing. its really confusing.  some times they start working after a few min. other times they stay out till u shut the truck off for a little while.  thanks for the help.

Hey  finally i find someone with the same,,exactly same problem i was having with my 2000 frontier.  I was told to replace it.  But i found a way by accident that fixed my problem,, all i did was turned the dash lights down, i can still see them at night, but its dim.  Havent had the problem since.  Please let me know if you try this, and whether or not it works.

I have the same problem! I've had this problem for almost 3 years and can't
get a straight answer and the dealer couldn't figure out the issue.

I dont think dimming the dash will work for me though, because I have this
problem constantly during the day, when my lights aren't even on. At this
rate I'll give anything a try though!

* This was taking when my truck was at a complete stop.
