I tried to install a TBS and did not succeed. I put
everything back together. Drove it and shifts funny not
hard or anything just wierd. That first gear would be fine
then it will shift and then RPMs go up and then down
shifting when it aint supposed to. This didnt happen beofre
I took it apart and disconnected the TPS. It doesnt stall
or anything it starts fine and all that can someone please
help.

There is about a 14 step procedure that has to be done whenever the TPS is replaced. Not a simple unbolt and replace procedure.< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">

What procedure ? Do you have the steps and what do I need or should I take it to a shop and have them do it? Thanks for the help....

I didnt replace it yet and I ordered it and it should be in most threads say it should be fine after I replace it.

SHould I take it in and get the Throttle Position Sensor replaced by a Professional. I just bought a Multimeter maybe you can walk me through it. Thanks for the advice.

I put in the new TPS and it didnt do sh*t. Im going to take it to my mechanic this he said she said sh*t aint working for me. Ill let you know whats going on.

Picked it up and now it better. The TPS has to be scanned so dont ever do it yourslef.
