Is it the line or the nipple on the sender unit that is defective? Do you do any off-roading? Being a Nismo, I would assume it has a gas tank skid plate.< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">

Are you the original owner? Has the fuel level sensor ever been replaced? When these tanks are removed, they can only be lowered about 2-3 inches, then the harness connector has to be disconnected, then you can lower it some more to disconnect the fuel line. If it was ever lowered too much w/o disconnecting either of these, I could see them getting damaged. The only other way is by a severe blow to the bottom of the tank forcing the sender to hit the bed floor. Just a few thoughts.< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">

Yes, it is plastic. If moisture was in the lines, it would expand and crack them, but it seems the truck would not run if that was the case. Or if there was snow and ice built up under the nipple and froze?????? Hard to say for sure. Just haven't seen any failures of that nature and I have had a lot of tanks out of Frontiers.< id="gwProxy" ="">< ="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" ="">
