Have a 07 Frontier, 46,000 miles. I am not getting very much heat from my heater. No antifreeze leaks, temp does not seem to be up to par. Can only get about 160 degrees from radiator. Also appears to be now flow from the thermostat hose to the lower radiator. If the thermostat would not open, I believe I would have an overheat problem. Vehicle does not overheat. Runs great full power. But no heat!! Any advice? Ran vehicle w/o rad. cap to vent air, still no good.

Welcome to the group!
Try this... Drain the cooling system. Pull off the heater hoses and reverse flush the heater core with a garden hose and re install. Remember the garden hose will have more pressure than the heater core can stand! Be careful…
Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..
Happy Holidays…

Had a similar problem with my 05 4.0L frontier. Added half a gallon of coolant to the overflow tank and got heat back. Was hoping not to turn it into a can of worms, easy fix worked this time...

seems like im still having the same problem as the original poster.the extra water in the overfill tank helped a little. i had my water pump replaced a few months ago, did the thermostat at the same time. the guy that did this for me showed me that there was a difference between the two thermostats. and im thinking that the new one is opening way too soon. because the truck isnt getting cold at all. i might have to get a new thermostat and see if that does anything,
