I need to haul a 750 pound safe about 125 miles over some steep hills.  The safe is an inch longer than the bed of my Crew Cab  V-6 (2007) with an auto trans.  I plan to have it  laid flat in the bed with the tailgate off or down and two large (2000 pound test) ratchet straps holding the safe in place using the big Utilitrack clamps.  Two clamps will be at the front of the bed and two on the side.

Any thoughts, hints tips would be welcome.
