I just had to replace the front pads on my 06 Frontier crew cab, 4x4 at 41,000 KM. Just looking to compare with others with the same truck. I do half in town half highway.
The pad with the wear bar, passenger side was almost all gone, there was about 1mm of material left. The others still had lot's of meat left.

Do the pads move freely in the torgue members? If not, remove the shims to clean the rust build-up and lube to prevent or slow down the rust. I also grind the ends of the pad backing to increase the clearance between pad and torgue member- lube also with hi temp anti-seize. Make sure the caliper pins move freely.
