Here are a few heads up for beginners that may be reading this thread:
... If you’re going to be hauling loads and trailers drain and refill all drive line cases to the proper level with synthetic fluids. Lube oil in the cases expands as it gets hot because friction in the gears creates a lot of heat… heavy loads cause much more heat.
... The oil in the cases spinning in the case is the only coolant that cools the hot gears in the case! Over filled lube levels can blow seals even if the case is vented. Modified exhaust systems can add heat to the drive line!
