Just wondering. I got a crack in my windshield (non OEM),this winter that started at the base of the glass approx near the defroster outlet went up and then over towards the other side and ended up back at the base of the windshield, near the other outlet. Total distance across the base, approx 14". It never got more than 4" from the base and ended up looking like an upside down flat bottomed 'U'
I heard the crack start and watched the crack advance across the glass. It was very cold out -30C.
Question. Anyone else have that happen in roughly the same spot? The reason I ask is I can't see any impact from a stone. I didn't hear an impact while I was driving. I saw another Frontier in town with a crack in a similar spot. It could have started with an impact but......
