Was at the stealership yesterday.  Wanted $100 for injector service.  What does this include?  $100 just to pour some injector cleaner into the gas tank?  And, speaking of gasoline additives to clean the fuel system, are there any that really seem to work well?  I've had no trouble with Techron, which I use from time to time.  But, it is not cheap.  Any suggestions?  Am not having probs, just want to prevent them.

Lucas Oil, and Sea Foam both work well.  I personally use Sea Foam in my older vehicles.

BG makes an excellent product for cleaning injectors called 44K, it is only available at dealerships, it is dumped into the fuel tank. Nissan has a special device to put cleaner directly into the fuel rail from pressurized cans. It works very well, that may be what they were going to do for $100?????

Do you dump both in at the same time?

no, i just use Sea Foam.  I have a bottle of Lucas Oil cleaner that was given to me.  LOL.  But some of the older mechanics I've talked to that I work with seem to review it favorably.

You can also put some sea Foam through your brake booster line to help clear out your upper manifold.
