Hello folks,

I got a problem with my 2000 Frontier. For some reason the truck has a noticeable lean on the right side. And it eats my front tires. A buddy of mine says that Nissan trucks have some kind of adjustment that levels the truck out when you do a front end alignment. Is this true? Or do i have another problem? Also, when i turn sharply either to the left or right there is this loud crunch or squeak sound, kinda like metal to metal, i've checked to see if i can find where the noise is coming from but i can't see any signs of wear. anyone else have this problem? Anyhow, any input would be appreciated! Thanks, Rob

Your buddy is right, the torsion bars need to be adjusted, which means the alignment needs to be checked at the same time.
The noise is from the steering stops, most likely the plastic caps have come off the bolt heads. Replace the caps, apply grease, or just apply the grease.

frontierguy is right about steering stops, had same problem with Toyota 4x4, about drove me nuts untill someone told me what it was. good gob of heavy grease will stop it untill grease wears off.
