Hi , I got a CEL and the code was P0128. I need to know how to test the thermostat and the ect sensor to find out what is gone bad.

Replace the thermostat with a Genuine Nissan thermostat - make sure your coolant is at the proper concentration - and as mentioned many times before - it always helps to know what your vehicle is due to the fact that there could be concerns specific to a particular vehicle.
