I have a 2000 Frontier Crew Cab SE off Road. I bought it used about a year ago. When I bought it I noticed what I thought was a valve tap. I mentioned it to the dealer but they said 'oh, no. All the Frontiers sound like that.' I also bought an extended warranty so I didn't let it stop the sale. Now the tap seems worse. The dealer plays dumb when I mention the warranty & I'm starting to get pissed. Does anyone else have this tap?

This is a copy of the Nissan service bulletin, yes it is a common problem and yes Nissan does have a cure for it. Take a copy of this bullitin into the service department and they should fix it for free. Good luck!
