Is there any modifications that would be needed to swap my 2001 Frontier SC 17" rims for 15" OEM rims from a similar year...is it 2000-2004 rims that will cross over?

In case you're wondering why...it is hard to find tires for the 17" rims for cheap...and they are all wide, which reduced MPG and make it handle worse in the winter because the tires float.
