Got my superchips cortex updated and did the performance tune today.  I pretty much just wanted the WOT restriction disabled.  Huge improvement in response/acceleration, which is exactly what I wanted.  Also advanced the rev limiter, but kept the speed limiter at stock.

Awesome product and great customer service.

WOT is wide open throttle.

Not sure what is restricted when you go WOT and how it affects acceleration.

the drive by wire allows only 50% throttle max up till 38 mph.  the superchips tune disables this restriction so you can get wide open throttle at any time.

try accelerating hard from a stop and that lag you feel is the WOT restriction, then when you hit 38 mph, it opens up.

Yeah now I get it. I can get just as quick a start with 1/2 throttle.  I'm assuming its a fuel economy measure?

probably is, and safety too cause i can do wheel peels easily now.

Superchips has added a gas saver tune (Mileage XS) and real-time onboard data logging for FREE:

engine stats:  engine temp, throttle position setting, intake air temp, mass air flow, engine load, rpm

fuel trim

O2 sensor banks

distance logging (1/4 mile, 1/8 mile)

speed (0-60, 0-40)

I also have a 20% discount code from Superships and if you order on or before 12/23/08 you will get free ground shipping.  The code is for orders directly from Superchips (online or over the phone).

Everyone,
We have a new 93 octane file available for download. With it comes the option for you to manually adjust timing on your vehicle from -8 to +3 degrees.

Give it a shot and tell us what you think.

Scott
