Hi all, I have a 2007 Nissan Frontier, I often have noticed the the front passenger side floor is very wet, and I mean very wet. I kept thinking that I was leaving the window open on accident during rain storms but I figured I can't be that stupid that many times.. So I started to conciously make sure that window stays closed and low and behold the floor was still becoming very wet. I did alot of troublshooting and found (will I think) I found the reason. There is a hole in the wall below the glove box going through the firewall, about 3 inches in Diameter. I am not sure what it is but it is surrounded by some black spoungs material and that was SOAKING wet to the touch. I am thinking maybe the A/C drainage or something?? but it looks like it is running water down under the carpet and soaking up the floor.
Does anyone know what device this is? Has anyone ever experienced this issue?
Thanks all, looking for some input on how I can get this issue resolved before the carpet starts getting all moldy on me.
