Unable to refuel without gas burping out of tank, must use intermitant squeezes on gas nozel to slowly get gas in tank. replaced suggested servo of exterior tank valve but it didn't help. Any suggestions to solve my venting problem?

I also had this problem with my 2001 4X4. Took to dealer tried a couple things, no luck. Dealer contacted Nissan, there fix was to swap out fuel tank. The tube in the tank somehow develops a kink. Can't replace tube by itself. No recall on this. Should be due to gas spilling every time you fill up. After tank swap no more spilling. Cost....$700.

ouch....

hopefully there is a DIY fix out there somewhere short of replacing tank.

2001 Frontier. I hope there is one out there now too. If you can do the tank swap yourself it will save you cash. It has been about 1 year and still fixed.

The fueling problem is with a 2004 Desert Runner 2wd frontier 6 cyl
