Thanks but what ever happened to real steel bumpers that you could push a disabled car out of an intersection without a thousand bucks worth of damage?

My '76 Wagoneer can still do it and my '76 Datsun pick up did it several times.

Yeah, its nice...but I kind of agree with lakota. What happened to real steel? What happened to trucks that could take a beating? What happened to a truck being "just a truck"? I want a truck with a 5speed, hubs that you have to get out and lock, roll down windows, and a bumper made from an I-beam or some steel tubing.

Really, how many 09 frontiers do you think will actually see off road stuff like that?

I know some people want the SatNav, radio controls on the steering wheel, and on the fly 4 wheel drive. But what about the people that want a simple truck, not too many frills, and is almost indestructible.

I might have only 2wd and power windows and locks, but I do have a 5speed and I go off road as much as I can. My truck has some scratches and a few dents, and it wears them like badges of honor. Those dents and scratches on my truck are like the ribbons and medals on a General's chest. It has been places and done things, got in trouble and got back out and it never needed SatNav!

Ok, I'm done ranting.
