I think have found that the rear end ratios for 2005-2008 Frontiers are as follows: 3.133 for Automatic 2.5L I-4, 3.538 for Manual with 6 speed 4.0L V-6 and 2.5L I-4, 3.692 for Automatic 4.0L V-6, and 4.083 for the Manual  with 5 speed 2.5L I-4. Correct me if they are not right but it's what I was able to uncover so far. My question though is can these pinion gears be changed between these model year rear ends?  I know it might be expensive but just need to know mechanically if it's possible.

danny here on your inside door pannel there a little that show weight front and rear and by the axal no# like a ca26 or somthing like that define your gear nissan should know I hope a chltion manual come out soon they have been a great for me in the past. BTW nissan says i have 2.93 gear with the code i gave them. the ony true way i guess is to count the ring and pinion and divid by 2

I found all the correct ratios in the FSM (RFD-Rear Final Drive section) that I downloaded. Now I need to find out if the Drive Gear and Drive Pinion sets are interchangeable in the differental. Maybe ask the dealer?
