I noticed my driver-side wiper blade was sitting lower than the other. Checked it out and found the mount that attaches to the wiper arm (is this called the control arm?) is stripped. I can move the entire arm up with my hand, and when I turn the wipers on, only the passenger wiper moves. Anybody know if this is an easy and cheap fix? Or am I looking at a $50-up part and complete disassembly of the plastic vent under the wipers?
Was reading another post where "Fishoholic" mentioned this:

Another problem obviously not to do with this case is worn knuckles on the control arm for the driver side wiper.
Its a long steel arm with plastic knuckles on either end, If ya haven't
changed this part you will, its only about 20.00 for the part and takes
about 5mins to change.
I'm thinking this is what I need to do...
Forgot to mention this is on a 2002 XE Crew Cab.
