Interestingly the manual for my brand spanking new Frontier calls for leaving the manual hubs locked in for the first three hundred miles of driving in 2wd. Also it seems to call for timing belt replacement for the 2.4 at 60,000 miles. (I say seems because it´s all in Spanish but I´m pretty sure that´s what it says.)

I didn't know you could get a new truck with manual hubs, must be something that isn't imported/made for the US market.  In any case, locking in the manual hubs during break-in is pretty common practice.

I'm not sure about Nissan, but timing belt replacement at 60k is usually for extreme driving (abnormally hot temps, lots of stop & go driving, etc) and usually there is a higher number (90k plus) for "normal" driving.

Your truck is nothing like the American market truck.  Most people on here are in the US or have the US model... I really don't know much about your truck.  For example, in america, they no longer even sell the 2.4 liter much less with a 4x4, and Nissan doesn't have anything with manual hubs that I am aware of.
