Being a new dude to your community, I'm sure this is beating a dead horse but I hope a few of you will comply with a few replies.

I have an 02 with stock rims.  Nothing has been changed from the stock body or suspension.

I currently run BF Goodrich ATs.  I spend hunting season offroad, but nothing serious.  Well, all offroading is serious since you don't want to get stuck in budda all alone.  I have use the BFG ATs on other trucks and really like them since I usually get 50k out of them and they seem to do fine offroad.  However....

I have been eyeing more aggressive tread and specifically the BFG MTs.  The problem is they don't have the stock 265/70/16 in their sizing chart.

I am sure tons of you have upgraded the tires without altering the truck.  What would you guys recommend for decent road wear, good offroad rating, and killer looks without breaking a budget?  Also, can a different BGF MT size go on the stock rims without ripping the mud flaps off or rubbing?

Thanks.

Danny here tire shops down here in FL do and I`ve seen them in off road mags to.I have not tried them before but heard the ProComps MT`s are not that bad. Have some friends down here in FL that just buy cheap steel rims for hunting with some mean meats like rvts gerenal mt save your nicer rims for the road. A 265/75/16 is only about 1-2 in bigger than what you have

According to some online tire size calculators, the 265/70/16 is equivalent to a 31" tall tire, while a 265/75/16 is equivalent to a 32" tall tire.  Both should be about 10.5" wide.
If you go up to the 75 series, your speedo will probably be about 2mph slow at around 60mph.

I use Dueler A/T Revos and I don't have any trouble.  I don't use M/Ts b/c they can be trouble in sand as they can dig, and I normally do a good amount of sand driving.

Not true Danny....  Bridgestone's website lists my tire as 10.6" wide.
