i had one quote to do it, the headers where $410 and the install was $1500.

seams a little steap, anyone do it themselves?

would i be better off paying someone?

$1500 for install!!!  I would learn how to do that stuff my self. It cannot be that hard to take off the old headers, put the new ones on and re connect the o2 sensors.

Man, you could probably buy me and Chris6744 each a plane ticket to Canada or where ever you live, a case of beer, $100 for our time, and let us do the install and still not pay $1500.

If you let that shop install them, you will be paying almost 2 grand for 10-15 horses. Unless you are running it on a drag strip, running the Baja 1000, or you make more money than you know what to do with, I would reconsider them installing it.

I looked around in the Houston area (I live in south houston) and got a couple of quotes.  I can get the headers from Summit Racing or the like for $332 (just look up that part number 1410S on google for JBA Headers).  A local shop said they would do it for $400 and I'd have to leave it for two days.

The headers are shorty headers part number 1410S (stainless steel no coating) the headers are 399 with shipping and you are looking at 400 for installation. If you are interested please just call or email me back and we can get them on the way.

i also found a shop after further research that will install for $450,

i will be going with nismo headers, by the time i drove out there twice i would have been better off paying the extra $50.

thanks for the information though.
