I own a 2004 Frontier 3.3 v6 4x4.

Truck is 4 years old, one original driver.

I want to changeout the 5 speed for a 6 speed manual transmission.

Understand the conversion may require driveshafts, a shifter, and a trim ring.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated!

im not to sure but it might require a diff flywheel considering the 6 speed comes off a diff motor than the vg33 that you currently have.

just curious, what makes you want to do this?

I wanted to increase gas mileage on longer trips..

Forget the idea. Transmissions are now inter-change-able. 6 speed is heavier, larger, and 1-1/2" Longer
