I just purchased a 05 Frontier Se 4X4.

It has 285X75R -/16 tires & looks like it might have had a

moderate lift kit installed ( see pics on member album).

It doesn't have the "slip" type traction control or E-lockers.

It has 31K & doesn't look like it's been in a parking lot, much less off road.

It will be used mostly for a second vehicle & for hunting in AZ.

Mostly forest service roads. My question is do I need a locker for the rear or front & if so what is available & which do you folks think is best?

My former off road velicle is a 88 Jeep Cherokee 4x4 select trac which always did what ever was needed.

I don't do rock climbing or extreem 4X, so what do you all think?

being a frontier owner myself i really dont think the locker is really neededd so much. its mostly on trucks just to say they have it. a 4x4 will be just fine for you.

 Chris,

Thanks for the info. That's what I was hoping.

A few trip out the desert & mountains will prove it out.

It's great to have a group that you can bounce questions

off of & get  usefull info back.I'm so glad I found this site.
