Hello,

Pushing the AC button or turning on the defrost and the compressor will not engage.

The green light does illuminate. Fuses are OK. I'm working on removing the relay. Any ideas, suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Joey1986Z;

Welcome to the group!

With the engine not running you might try refastening the harness plug or hot wiring the clutch… it should make a loud click if it’s working.  Good luck.

Have a good one and see you later… Don S..

Now the whole world is going to hate America for burning food in our trucks. Can you spell Corn Ethanol?

This is the information that i need dude! whether you are still active or not thanks for this input! i already wasted 1 hour and 30mins of my time looking for sources here on the internet. i dont wanna visit my dealer and i will be fixing this AC problem on my own. such a pain in the arse but i can do this! diagnosing ac is a pain in the arse. i still have freon, already check the evaporator. i believe it is my ac compressor. i will be asking questions later if ever i cannot fix it.

Wow, this is old, and thanks Lakota! Turns out, due to an accident 2 -3 years earlier, the ac line was moved and the o-ring was damaged, causing the refrigerant to leak out. I got a replacement o-ring free from the Nissan dealer (said it was not worth writing up). Installed it and added R-134. Three years later and it cools great in these 95° F days we've been having here.
