My new (1100mi) SE 4x4 6cyl Auto. is having a new U Joint installed. The service manager tells me it's a "characteristic of the vehicle that when the transmission downshifts from 4th to 3rd the driveshaft racks and causes the u joint to "bump". Has anyone had any experience with this.
