im wanting to put 4 wheel discs on my truck, wanting the really strong stopping power and of course, the cool looks of huge discs. im wanting to know what vehicle would have the same kind, so i could just find a disc brake kit for that vehicle and know itll work on mine.

if you guys have any idea of what i could do about this, let me know. itll be greatly appreciated.

Hmm... that would be a hard one for a few reasons.

find a Nissan that used the same rear design and had disc?

Almost impossible because Nissan's 350z probably doesn't even use the same design, but it might be a place to start looking.  The hard part is most of Nissan's stock is in FWD or AWD, and even then they're using independent suspesion.

You're best plan of attack is getting a generic set or rotors from a vehicle that used the same pattern.  Possibly the 300xz? (don't qoute me on that)  Then grab the calipers as well (because you'll need them for the parking brake)  Then fab up your own brackets.

Or you can get a 2nd set of rotors that are the same size as the front, as well as another set of calipers.  Fab up the brackets.

Remember also that the master cylinder resivoir on a 4 disc is smaller than that of the disc/drum setup.  And you might run into a nightmare if the Rear Wheel ABS that came on almost all of Nissan's trucks.

or maybe could you just swap out the rear axle from an 06, I know that it may seem extreme but the 03 is paid for and I just want better stopping power than the drums.  I just dont know i it will fit does anybody know if it could work?

You'd have to make sure the spring mounting locations matched up, shock mounts, Pinion flange is the same size and type, and if 4x4 that the gearing is the same as the front.

Pinion flange, gearing, and spring mounting spots is the same width.  Shock mounting could be repositioned.
