LOL - just venturing out to find a answer to "why" its doing what its doing.

Im a tech geek and when I discover a problem with something mechanical or electrical I cant stop thinking about "why" until I know "why".

well since you dont seem to want to take it back to the place you bought it from go to your local parts house the should be able to hook a code reader to it and get some information for you.

Interesting.

So far I have gotten more moral opinion than technical advice.

Bummer.

At this point I have spoken with the dealer and they will address the problem.

I personally have gone over the vehicle from tip to stern and found no mechanical issues other than a notchy gear box.

This is the only electrical issue and a minor one at that.

Now if one new how much I had purchased this fine machine for then taking it back wouldnt be up for discussion, LOL.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

At the moment Im leaning on a bad instrument cluster.

I guess Ill just have to remove it and check all the harness's going into it for solid connections.

All the google'n I have been doing on the subject of "999999" have revealed just that.

A cracked or malfunctioning panel.
