So I was carrying my keys on the second floor of a building and they fell out of my hand and fell to ground level. The dang key snapped right the the ring. Any ideas on a cheaper place to get the transponder coded other than the dealership? They want $30 for the key and $80+ for the coding.

Thanks

..

jimbomcgommy;

My '99 has a key and a remote fob. The wifes '08 Camry as a key with built in remote. I haven't seen any late model keys.

Any how there was a lot of info on google typing in 'nissan remote key'

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

It would be nice if our members would add their vehicle information to their signature (similar to mine) plus add their City and State . A member in the same town might be willing to drop by and help you with a problem. Or drink all your beer!

This is a great question although I'm a little scared of the answers b/c I just paid the dealership $95 for 2 additional keys.  Each key was $25 and they charged me $45 for programming.

I would much rather pay what you paid for 2 then pay what I was quoted for 1!
