I just purchased a 1998 Frontier king cab and it has one of those nasty space saver spares on it. It appears that a regular sized spare tire might fit in the space under the bed where the space saver spare is now mounted but I'm too lazy to jack up the truck, remove a wheel and test my theory.

Does anyone know if a full size spare (mounted on a Nissan alloy rim) will fit in the normal spare tire space under the bed of a 1998 Frontier King cab with rear wheel drive?

I've got an oversized BFG AT - 31x10.50x15 mounted under my Frontier bed but mine is a 4x4 and it might be different.
