Hi All, I'm at 3000 miles now and the passenger side seat has developed an annoying squeak when going over even the smallest bumps.  I tried spraying WD40 in the joint where the seat reclines/folds but that had no effect.  Anyone had a similar problem and found a way to fix it?

Aloha,

Is it like the seat starts to oscillate sideways and the movement seems to cause the seat to resonate with a squeak?

See my post for "07 CC Passenger Seat Vibration" in this forum.

It happened to me at about 500 miles but settled down around 2500-3000 miles.  Don't know if something tightened, loosened or what.

Bob

I just stuffed a rolled up towel in between the seat and the console. Quiet as a mouse. Then If I need a towel for a spill I have one.

I took the truck to the dealer today - they said they took the seat apart and could not fix the squeak, so they are ordering a new seat bottom.  Sounds like a defective design, so I'm thinking it will probably happen again.  If it does, I'll probably try the towel idea.  Thanks!
