My 1998 Frontier doesn't have a tach. I was wondering if any knew if I could put a newer style gauge cluster with a tach in and if it would hook up? Would it just be easier to buy a tach, anyone know the best way to hook it up?

Anything is possible, but if your planning on going the instrument cluster route, be prepared to spend some big bucks. You could always get an aftermarket type, and mount it to the windshield pillar. That would not cost so much.
