Just a quick question about these products, how many of you have them and do you like them? With it so hot where I live, I like to leave the windows cracked now and then, but you also never know when it's going to rain, since it can change in hurry. The things is, if you have them, do you like them, the ones i've been looking at are the in-channel ones as I have no intention of using 3M tape and sticking it to my door frame. So if you have in-channel ones, do you have any problems with them staying put, and are they effective? Thanks in advance.

thanks for the reply skippy, that's good that you like them, i'm thinking about getting a set for my 01 CC, so i'm taking it you haven't had any problems with them staying put? i'm glad to hear that they look clean and isn't a hassle of an installation, from the instructions i've seen on some sites it does look pretty simple. thanks again.

I had the in-channel ones on a previous truck.  The only thing I didn't like about them was the scratching-against-the-window sound the made when there was wind-blown grit or dirt collected.  It was like I could hear the window being scratched.

I have the weathertech ones that go in the channel and i must tell you they are the greatest. I have them in my 01 and I have had them since aorund the end of 01. the only thing you will notice is that the edges of the glass will scratch with dirt and stuff. Eventually the windows may slow in the cold. It does take a little while for them to sort of wear in, but i rally like them. They keep the rain out and keep the wind from blowing directly in your face. i would recommend them to anybody. I have the KC but i know that on the CC the rear windowa have adhesive tape on them on the sides. I have heard they are good also. But like i said i have had them for about 6 years now.

I just put a set on my 07 Frontier. my truck is only a few months old, the dealer sells the adhesive type, not the in chanel, which I wanted, I had them on my other truck for 10 years, and yes you can hear grinding after a while from dirt. on a new truck the in channel type you have warranty issues if you ever had a problem with the window, this is what the dealer said. so stick on type now for a few years.
