Hi, I am new to the forum . I got one a few months ago, A Gold 2001 Supercharged extended cab 4x4 SE W/ Embroiderd stitched leather seats. All electric, 6 cd in dash CD Changer, Alarm w/keyless remote. All the bells and whistles.

I am delighted with the truck but have been looking for more info on the SC models like production numbers for my year and such and have found it to be almost "taboo". There's little to no mention of the Supercharged models anywhere I look short of a few old reviews. Like here for example. I would think a "frontier" forum would have a section dedicated to a special model with a factory power adder but I have yet to find one. In fact I have found very little info at all, technical or otherwise, anywhere. The haynes manual I bought never even mentions anything about SC'd models.

Whats the deal? Were there that few made? Does everyone hate them or what? I know the only 7lbs boost at WOT aint much but still. It's different and seems like a cool package.

Are there any Supercharged owners out there? Or a forum or section devoted to them?? I would love to hear other peoples experiences and advice with the SC models.

Welcome to the group…

… I just typed in ‘Supercharged’ into the search function of the forum and got three pages of threads. At Google I typed ‘Nissan Supercharged’ and got ton of things to look at.

Us moderators do not have the power to things that a Administrator can. I do believe the forums areas should be adjusted to suit our members. The activity is now starting to grow here.

It would be nice if our members would add their vehicle information to their signature (similar to mine) plus add their City and State . A member in the same town might be willing to drop by and help you with a problem.

Well thanks, being new I just looked at all the topics and threads that were on the surface. I didn't even notice the search function. I guess I was looking for a box.

I also did that same google search where all I found was info on the 350z and the "old reviews" I spoke of.

I still cant find any real technical info or production #'s or a forum dedicated to or even having a section covering them. Just seems like there would be alot more out there covering a special factory power adder package on the frontiers.

I'll look again here in the search when I get time.

we need a page. i agree the supercharged models are special i know it is a rare truck iknow of about 15 in my county that has 200,000 people in it and one was brought here from texas the others a few from florida it is sweet to find another SC owner.

the back cover of the chilton haynes manaul say not for supercharged models and it is better to go to the Nissan dealer and buy their manaul it is a bit pricy but worth it a factory book vs the aftermarket i'd takethe factory any day,

Thanks tonkasco1, I was in a hurry when I saw the haynes manual at auto zone so I just snatched it up. What a waste. I will look into the factory manual.

Do you know of any source that could tell us production #'s ? I'm curious as to how many of the first year were made. My local dealer couldn't even tell me.
