I have a 2007 frontier crew cab with 5000 miles on it. It has been to the dealer several times for a rear suspension problem. Whenever I go over a hard bounce the rear suspension seems very loose and chattery. Does anyone else have this problem or can anyone advise me what to do because right now the dealership does not know what to do ????

My 2007 was the same way. The delaer loaded up the leaf springs with chasis grease and the noises went away.

It is best not to grease leaf springs as the grease collects grit and can wear the springs. Far better to put teflon buttons or sheets between the leaves. My 2007 has teflon buttons installed from the factory. If you feel a lube is needed, try some WD-40. This is not sticky like grease and will tell you if friction between the leaves is the problem.

I just had my 06 Frontier in for suspension squeak/rattle. Noise turned out to be hood and fenders squeaking. Dealer tightened entire dog house and noise is gone. Hope this helps and my noises almost caused me to trade mine. Dealer said there is a lot of body flex in crew cab.
