ok ive had my 05 frontier for about 2 months now and i dont drive it very often since i have a dedicated work vehicle but when i do it seems that theres always a new noise coming from inside the truck.  such as a strange ticking from the front passenger side dash area, and a knocking noise at the rear pass. side door.  both windows make a creaking noise after theyve been rolled up as if they are settling into place. then theres the front and rear suspension that has a horrific squeak even just getting in and out of the truck.  anyone had any of these noises and if so know what the hell they are, the dealer is supposed to be fixing the suspension squeaks soon after trying to tell me that it was just the hood adjusters that needed tweaked LOL., they also told me the window noise is because the windows are tinted LOL

05nismoking;

... Most of those noises I'd have to be in the truck to locate them. I did find a suspension squeak that ended up being the seal on a right rear shock. I sprayed some silicon lube up under the cover and that fixed it. Sometimes a truck sitting around will get rust in some of the suspension parts and that will cause noises.

Have a good one while you can still laugh about it.. Don S..

Corn Ethanol: Our government is hoodwinking Americans and making a few people rich. We have a 50 cent per gallon tariff against importing ethanol and subsidize our ethanol refiners 54 cents per gallon with our tax dollars. And using Corn Ethanol is driving food prices up! Another case where lobbyists make the laws!

I have the same ticking noise on the passenger side dash of my '06 crew cab.   I also have a similar noise coming from near the right rear passenger door, but I'd describe this as more of a "twang" - like the sound of the springs in a fold-out couch.  Unfortuntalely, I can't reproduce either sound while parked and the location makes both diffcult to diagnose while driving.  I hope your dealership was able to tell you something.  Mine is going in soon.  I'll repost if they're able to figure out either problem.

I have a 07 Frontier with 5000 miles on it and it has been to the dealer 5 times for noises in the back of the vehicle.  First they changed the leaf springs and that solved the squeaking noise then whenever I go over a harder bounce it sounds like the entire rear end is loose.  The dealer then replaced the leaf springs two other times and that did not fix the problem.
